What will I need to know? Classes you will need to take for this career: Mathematics Architecture Electrical Technology Construction Engineering Technology Fire Protection and Safety Knowledge you will need to gain for this career: Building and Construction Mathematics Design Public Safety and Security

How do I get there? In high school, make sure you are focused and determined so that you can continue your academic success. Try to take an ROP course that interests you so that you can gain a little more knowledge and insight about the career in which you are interested. You will definitely need a high school diploma in order to make as much money as this field offers. Consider taking a few classes at the community college that will help you understand the career a little better and help you to get the “edge” on others also interested in this field.
