3 Objective of Calling Members Why Members Were Contacted –Determine Participation Level of Academy Members –Opportunity To Gauge The Satisfaction Level of MAEA Direction –Opportunity to Encourage Those Who Have Not Participated in a While –Determine How Many Planned to Come to The Feb Meeting

4 Member Call Results Able to Reach 36 of the 53 MAEA Members Most (24) of those Contacted Considered Themselves Actively Involved in the Academy There Were 10 Members Who Wish to Be Financial Contributors Only There Were 2 Who Wished to Be Removed from the Roster –One Due to Illness –Other Did Not Explain Reason 67% Active 28% Inactive 5% No Longer Associated Active = Does More than Financial Contribution Inactive = Only Contributes Financially No Longer Associated = Member Requested Removal

5 Member Call Results (Conti) 17 Members Were Unavailable –Left Multiple Messages to 10 of the Members –Remaining 7 Members had No Phone Info Listed or Phone Info Was Wrong Recommended Follow-up –Contact The 10 Members who were Left Messages –Try to Determine Contact Info for 7 Members Who’s Info Was Out of Date

7 Summary Calling the Members Was Productive –Helped Determine Level of Participation of Membership as a Whole –Able to Encourage Those Who Hadn’t Participated in a While Most Members Contacted Were Pleased With The Direction of the Academy Still Need to Follow up With Those Members That Were Not Reached to Better Refine the Results
