How do we define the personality traits of a hero? -a character whose actions are inspiring or noble - a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. -a person whose behavior, example, or success is or can be emulated by others, especially by younger people. 2. How do the setting,conflicts,and antagonists influence the development of a literary hero ? How they will over come their struggles that they have to get through New Orleans was going through a rough time and Drew Brees was a role model throughout the whole city and gave them something to believe in The “who dat nation” was created and everyone had hope that the Saints would bring home the championship Drew brees gave the city of New Orleans hope and belief

3. How does a hero reflect his/her particular culture and society? When everyone doubted his return to the NFL after a serious shoulder injury and some would say a career ending injury, New Orleans had faith in him and he had faith in New Orleans and they signed him Drew came through by becoming one of the best quarter backs in the league if not the best He won the super bowl He brought the saints to the top once again

4. How does a hero represent his/her time period and geographical area? Drew Brees represents Louisiana as a leader and the “man” of New Orleans He has gotten not only the city but people outside the city and state believing in what he can accomplish

5. How do various cultures reward or recognize their heroes? Drew Brees has been rewarded with many awards on and off the field He has received a MVP award and also many awards for his Foundation

6. What actions make him a hero in your eyes? The brees foundation The super bowl victory over Peyton Manning and the Colts

He gets everyone to believe in him and that they can get through whatever has been thrown at them He brings New Orleans new life when he steps out on the field and gives it his best shot when he's out there He is big on cancer research and puts millions of dollars towards it each year

9. What qualities does he have that makes him a hero? He has the belief of not only his family but everyone that knows him and even people that don’t know him believe in him He has a special quality that he can change the mood of those when they are most down and put a smile on their face and give them hope

10. How does Brees get people to believe in him? His words of wisdom and his foundation and also his skills on the field People believe because he believes and he also follows through and makes the beliefs a reality
