Pedro Martinez By: Trent Aguiar

Biography Pedro Martinez was born October in the Dominican Republic. Pedro was a great pitcher and first got drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in After getting traded and playing on a number of more teams he made his career famous with the Boston Red Sox. Ever since Pedro first picked up a baseball he knew he wanted to be a pitcher.

Achievement 1 Pedro pitched in the 2004 World Series games and his team did end up winning the Series in the end. They beat the St. Louis Cardinals to win it. Pedro pitched in game three of that series. He can now say he pitched in a successful series.

Achievement 2 Pedro is and eight time all star for his pitching skill. He is also a three time Cy Young Award winner. Pedro’s skills at pitching earned him these awards because he was one of the best pitchers at his time.

Personal Thoughts Pedro Martinez always has been my favorite pitcher for the Boston Red Sox. I am a big fan of the Red Sox and enjoy watching them play but I wish Pedro still was a pitcher.
