Nina Gröller What is a drug? A drug is a chemical substance or plant, which alters (verändern) the way of body works. Thousands of different sorts of drugs are socially accepted, like alcohol or tobacco, and some have important medical uses which are exclusively given by doctors. There are drugs like LSD, heroin and so on, which are not socially accepted and are forbidden by law.
