Forward & Aft Searchlight Operate Forward & Aft Searchlight.

Searchlight Operating Procedures OFF – START SWITCH. HOLD IN START JUST LONG ENOUGH TO LIGHT BEAM. SWITCH RETURNS TO CENTER WHEN RELEASED. MOVE TO OFF TO TURN OFF BEAM. 2.SPEED CONTROL SWITCH. ROTATE KNOB CLOCKWISE TO INCREASE SPEED OF BEAM MOVEMENT. 3.UP-DOWN-LEFT-RIGHT SWITCH. MOVE HANDLE IN DIRECTION TO PRODUCE DESIRED BEAM MOVEMENT. 4.BEAM FOCOUS SWITCH. MOVE SWITCH EITHER WAY UNTIL DESIRED BEAM SHAPE IS ATTAINED. 5.TEST SWITCH. PUSH WHEN BEAM IS ON TO MAKE SURE THAT OVER TEMP INDICATOR LAMP WORKS. 6.OVER TEMP LIGHT. INDICATES POSSIBLE TROUBLE WHEN LIT. IT IS TURNED ON BY THERMOSWITCH IN SEARCHLIGHT, WARNING THAT LAMP IS TOO HOT, AIR FLOW SWITCH IN POWER SUPPLY INDICATING THAT FAN IS NOT MOVING SUFFICIENT AIR, OR OVERLOAD RELAY IN POWER SUPPLY INDICATING IT IS DRAWING TOO MUCH CURRENT. USE SEARCHLIGHT AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE UNTIL SOURCE OF TROUBLE HAS BEEN CORRECTED. 7.CONTROL ONLY SWITCH. HOLD SWITCH DEPRESSED TO MOVE SEARCHLIGHT (WITH UP- DOWN-LEFT-RIGHT SWITCH) WITH BEAM OFF.
