 Big question is which tomato plant will grow faster? One hanging upside down, or one sitting upward?  I want to do this experiment because I want to see which one I should use to grow in my garden for eating with mozzarella and vinegar.

Hypothesis I think the tomato plant hanging upside down will grow the fastest. I think this because when the plant is watered all the water and nutrients will go to the leaves.

1.When Topsy Turvy Tomato plants are watered all the nutrients and vitamins go to the leaves to help it grow. 2.Tomatoes are usually eaten in salad and other vegetables. 3. Tomatoes are the most popular food ever. 4.Tomatoes are rich in vitamin A and C. 5.An average tomato can carry 35 cal. 6.

Materials 1 tomato plant ( tiny and only grown a bit) 1 Topsy Turvy set. A watering can Potting soil A garden Patience

First take everything out of the Topsy Turvy box. Set it up with following the instructions on the box with the potting soil. Take the tomato plant and plug it in the bottom of the Topsy Turvy Water the tomato plant from the top of the Topsy Turvy then you’re done Wait about 2 days and you’llsee a sprout from both plants

Variables My variables are My sitting upright and hanging upside down.

Observations First day and the tomato plant hanging upside down is growing a sprout 2 nd day and the one sitting upward is growing a sprout and the other has a green tomato. 3 rd day and the tomato plant hanging upside down is growing a yellow tomato & one sprout.

Observation Graph

Data On the last day of the experiment the tomato plant hanging upside-down grew the most tomatoes and the less amount of leaves

 Yes this experiment tested my hypothesis

 The  End!!!!!!!
