 Mechanical engineering is the design, construction, and use of machines.  Mechanical engineering is the broadest engineering out of them all.  In mechanical engineering you can be doing electrical, dynamics, combustion, etc.

 Job future outlook is 9% between 2010 and 2020All Mechanical Engineers need to know mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, structural analysis, and electricity.  The average salary of a mechanical engineer is $ 81,000  You need at least a bachelor’s degree in Engineering to graduate.
