Bar Graph A graph that uses vertical or horizontal bars to represent data. 2

Circle (pie) Graph A graph in which a circle and it’s interior are divided into parts to show the parts of a set of data. 3

Denominator The number below the line in a fraction. In a fraction where a hole is divided into equal parts, the denominator represents the number of equal into which the hole (the ONE or unit) is divided. 4

Equivalent Fraction Fractions that have different denominators but name the same amount. 5

Improper Fraction A fraction whose numerator is greater than or equal to the denominator. 6

Mixed Number A number that is written using both a whole number and fraction. 7

Numerator The number above the line in a fraction. 8

Percent Per hundred or out of a hundred. 9

Percent Circle A tool on the geometry template that is used to measure or draw figures that involve percents(such as circle graph). 10

Unit Fraction A fraction who's numerator is 1. 11
