PoliScanSpeed – Mobile Unit TRIPOD DETAILS Use Adjustment Handle to Level Tripod Unscrew Handle to unlock Top Plate. Use Level Bubble to level Top Plate. Once level, tighten Adjustment Handle to lock into place.
PoliScanSpeed – Mobile Unit TRIPOD DETAILS Mount FM-1 to Top Plate Align two metal pegs on FM-1 to Slots in Top Plate. Slide FM-1 forward until metal pegs lock into Top Plate and stop. (Little to no resistance, and will not make a sound. Tighten Locking Screw at Back of FM-1 to secure onto Top Plate. FRONT

PoliScanSpeed – Mobile Unit SETTING the YAW ANGLE Rotate FM-1 approx. 200 from parallel with the flow of traffic. 200 can be approximated using a 3:1 ratio shown below. “AUTOMATIC“ YAW – Traffic Must Be Present Click on “Info“ icon - - to open Yaw Angle table From Table, find adjustment to original angle based on Distance between FM-1 and the nearest lane (e.g. Fog line) ( 0 - 5 ft ) ( 5 - 10 ft ) ( 10 – 16.5 ft ) ( > 16.5 ft ) 200 3X X
