Tropical Savannah. Bryn Gabrielson O, A.

Climate. Savannas have warm temperature year round. There are actually two very different seasons in a savanna; a very long dry season (winter), and a very wet season (summer). In the dry season only an average of about 4 inches of rain falls. Between December and February no rain will fall at all. Oddly enough, it is actually a little cooler during this dry season. But don't expect sweater weather; it is still around 70 ー F

A biotic Factors. The factors that can affect the tropical savanna and its organisms living in it are unseasonably warm temperatures, seasonal rainfall which can be too high or low which can cause floods or droughts, and fires that can be set by lightning can be harmful to the organisms. Soil Conditions: Soils vary according to bedrock and edaphic conditions. In general, however, laterization is the dominant soil-forming process and low fertility oxisols can be expected

Dominant Plants. Grasses are the dominant plant life in the savanna. A wide variety of grasses grow in savannas, but different varieties are found in different savannas. Some grasses grow 6 to 9 feet tall. Trees growing alone or in small clusters are also part of the savanna biome.

Dominant Animals. The Dominant animals in the Tropical Savanna are: African Elephant, African Wild Dog, Black Mamba, Caracal, Chacma Baboon, Egyptian Mongoose, Emus, Grant’s Zebra, Koala Bear, Lion, Nigriceps Ants, and Nile Crocodile.

Geographical Distribution. The latitude belt between 10 and 30 N and or S - this produces the tropical wet-dry savanna climate. Most of them are located in the interior part of continents between the tropical rain forests and tropical deserts and the largest area of savanna covers one-third of Africa.

Human Impact. I got zero information on this one.
