HOMEWORK (DUE FRIDAY) Have your parent sign your quiz, from Friday the 12th, if you scored low and would like to raise your grade correct your answers and return with parent signature. Also final first grade for compositions books will be entered Friday.

GRAPHIC ORGANIZER You need scissors, color pencils and pencils. Fold your blank paper in half Cut 3 slits in your paper vertically. Label the slits individually from bottom up: Bottom PLAINS Middle PLATEAUS Top MOUNTAINS

LANDFORMS Plateau is a landform with a high elevation and a more or less level surface. Example Colombia Plateau in Washington state.

LANDFORM Plains are made up of nearly flat or gently rolling land with low relief. Example The Great Plains, Mid- Western Northern America

LANDFORM Mountain has a high elevation and a high relief. Example Rocky Mountains Western side of North and South America.

MODELING LANDFORMS In a group you will use three different types of modeling clay to create each landform ( plains, plateaus, mountains). Once you finish connect all three to form an unbroken landscape of the area. If time permits select a spokes person to share your land area.
