It is Located… The Palace of Versailles In Versailles, near the city of Paris and it is one of the most beautiful and important places in the world. Historical Place in Versailles where the French Revolution started, and one hundred and twenty years later the Treaty of Versailles was signed, which meant the end of World War I.

The Palace of Versailles The Palace of Versailles is a building which served as a royal residence for centuries. Its construction was planned by Louis XIV. Louis XIV wanted to construct a palace outside the city of Paris, so he built the Palace of Versailles as a small city out of trouble.

The Palace of Versailles The palace of Versailles, the Grand Trianon and the Petit Trianon are all palaces which are part of the city of Versailles. The Petit Trianon The Grand Trianon

It has beautiful and functional gardens, a whole landscape that allows movement between them. Such organization emphasizes all the sculptures and fountains which are a monument to the French monarchy. The Palace of Versailles

The park covers 800 ha, 300 ha of woods and two French gardens which are actually two parks. The Small Park and The Trianon.

The Palace of Versailles  There is no doubt that Palace of Versailles is a globally admired architectural work.  The entire palace and park of Versailles, including the Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon, was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979.
