 In the western part of china, there are s ome large mountain and ranges, such as the Plateau of Tibet. There are also smaller mountains ranges and huge deserts. To the northwest, the deserts are surrounded by mountain ra nges. Finally, on the last and lowest ste p are the coastal plains. 

 Unfortunately, in river or oceans in China, people littered garbage and chemicals that are deadly to people, which after people drunk it, they had serious illnesses and disease from it. Because there is a lack of clean, fresh, water in china, people have to wash vegetables or other plants to wash off germs and dirt in those filthy, polluted water.

 In the eastern part of China, they have a humid, subtropical climate. In the northern interior of China is very dry. South, the Plateau of Tibet has a cool, dry, highland climate. In parts of China, they produce dust storms, that affects Korea, especially in spring.

 Since there are many populations in China to feed, Chinese farm every bit of land. For example, they grow grains, soybeans, tea, corns, cotton, rice, sugar canes, bamboo, etc and many other things.

 China has a variety numbers of natural resources. For example, there are mined copper, tin, iron, oil reserves and coal. However, since there aren’t some of the resources, they need to import some raw materials.

 Celebrating Holidays:  Chinese New Year Day(January 29 th )  Dragon Boat Festival(Fifth day of the fifth lunar month)- an occasion for driving off evil spirits and for finding peace in to one’s life.  Lantern Festival (15 th of the first month) Lan tern exhibits, dances, and eating Tang Yu, e tc. It is usually celebrated in the rural areas by farmers. The Lantern Festival also marks the end of the Chinese New Year season.

 Before the communists worked, the women had to work at home. However, after they came, the women’s position changed and they were allowed to have jobs and give opinions. However, still men got some power.  Because of the population, usually the families only had one child per family.

 Role of Family: The father usually works and keep all the power. Then, the mother usually do the house work. They usually have one child per family.

 Since China is a large country, transportation is also important. Here are some examples of ways :extensive train, paved roads, and air pl anes.  Also, for thousands of years, people tried to b uild canals for a vast transportation ; the Gra nd Canal.  Bicycles are also popular in china- there are t hree hundred million bicyclers in China. Now days people also want motor cycles. There are two types of trains you can see in Ch ina: the hard seat and the soft seat, which is more expensive.
