The sounding of the 7 th and final trumpet brings loud voices from heaven proclaiming the rule and reign of God forever and ever. This proclamation will lead the 24 elders to prostrate themselves before the Lord in worship. They will praise God for His power (17), justice (18) and reward (18). This great proclamation of the Kingdom has been the hope of the Old Testament prophets and will be the salvation of the tribulation saints. My God is a great, promise keeping God who will reign forever!

Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying: “We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.
