The Army Food Program Providing Food Service Worldwide Over 400 Active Duty Dining Facilities (DFAC) FY12 Customer Base 165 Million in DFACs 3.9 Million in AFFS $2.8 Billion in Sales I am here today to represent that Army Food Program and the 548,000 Soldier customers that the program supports. Providing Food Service Worldwide in all environments to meet the Commander’s & Soldiers needs

JOINT CULINARY CENTER OF EXCELLENCE DIRECTOR JOINT CULINARY CENTER OF EXCELLENCE (JCCoE) XO, SGM & AFA ADMIN COORD G4 FUNDED TRADOC FUNDED JOINT CULINARY TRAINING DEPARTMENT ACES DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS Basic Division Advanced Division Culinary Skills CSPD The ACES, DOO is funded by DA G4, P4. Funds are sent from DA G4 to TRADOC and then to the USAQMC&S earmarked for ACES. ACES performs the Army Worldwide Food Service Mission for DA G4, and CG, USAQMC&S. There were only 5 divisions, Concepts, Systems and Policy Division (CSPD); Facility and Engineer Division (FED); Quality Assurance Division (QUAD); Management Assistance Division (MAD); and The Reserve and National Guard Division (RC/NG). The 6th Division was added under the realignment: Special Programs. Each Division has a specific mission related to the support of the Food Service Program and Mission Worldwide: CSPD: Automation Systems; Contracting; Army Regulation writer; FM writers; Budget; Subsistence Prime Vendor Program FED: MCA Projects; Renovation Projects; Décor Project for Dining Facilities; Equipment – both Field and Garrison, SME for MAD for Facilities and Engineers QUAD: Menu Design; BDFA; Operation Rations – Both group and individual; Nutrition; Food Safety; Veterinarian MAD: Performs on Site Food Service compliance with Installations; Trains and educates Food Service Staff on operations as required. RC/NG: Liaisons for RC and NG HQs on all food service matters; performs CLRTs with NG/RC HQs for compliance and training Special Programs: USA Culinary Team for worldwide competition; Connelly- Evaluation and Recognition Awards program for Active and RC units – Field, Small Garrison and Large Garrison Categories submitted by ACOM and IMCOM. FED QUAD MAD USA USAF SPECIAL PROGRAMS* RC / NG USMC USN *USACAT and P.A. Connelly Award

ACES – Operations Directorate “The Eyes and Ears of the Department Army G4 and the Quartermaster General for Army Food Service” The DOD lead for Operational Rations (Class 1) and Theater level foodservice. We also maintain the scope of operations for the total Army mission of Foodservice worldwide. The JCCoE is the corporate HQ for the US Army Foodservice when soldiers are at home and abroad. My Operations Directorate serves both the Army G-4 at the Pentagon and The Quartermaster General for plans and policy.
