Right after announcements today, all students attending the March for Life please go to G15 for a very brief meeting.
The forensics team competed at the North Allegheny Forensics Tournament over the weekend. This was one of the biggest tournament that we have attended this year, with over 350 competitors across the various categories. Kennedy Wade, Cassie Moats, and Eithne Hartnett each participated in Student Congress. Bella Enfield competed in Humorous Interpretation of Literature for the first time. Each student performed extremely well and Kennedi placed in the top 5 for her Congress house
The Science Fiction Fantasy Club will meet this Thursday January 14th after school in Ms. Day’s room for TableTop Day. Take a break from studying and join us as we play a variety of indie board games! As always, there will be food.
An OC Graduate will be visiting OC on Thursday, January 14th during the lunch periods to talk about Cornell University and the "Ivy Experience“ Please sign up in the Guidance Office.
The Writing Center is available to all students who would like help at any stage of the writing process and for any kind of writing assignment. English teachers are in the Writing Center every day during all lunch periods, as well as during periods 2 and 3. There are also Writing Center sessions during every CCW. All of the English Department faculty members are happy to help you with your writing assignments.
Just a reminder that all students are able to sign up to be tutored by the members of the National Honor Society during CCW sessions.

On Thursday, January 14th, A Representative from the Pittsburgh Public Theatre will come to speak to students about how to prepare for the upcoming Shakespeare Monologue and Scene Contest.
