Salsa Lab Salsa Lab *Did you check in with me at the door? *Please find your assigned seat and sit in it. 1. On your Salsa Handout come up with a procedure for testing this problem: Will eating chips and salsa raise your body temperature?? and write it down on the bottom of the Salsa Lab Handout 2. The materials you will have are: chips, salsa, 1 bowl, paper towels, two thermometers per table, and thermometer covers. Please list these in the “materials” section of the handout. 3. Please form a hypothesis using an “if/then” statement and write it down on your handout. 4. Please list your IV, C and DV on your handout.

Salsa Lab I will assign you a table and group Be sure to clean up when the timer goes off so your group doesn’t lose any lab points Decide whose procedure you want to follow You only need to record the data for two people from your group and the control person. One of those can be your data if you want I will bring chips and salsa around to you. Follow proper hygiene procedures. (no double dipping, sanitize your hands, don’t touch someone else’s food, etc). Sorry…no refills. What I have has to last all day and has to cover 173 students
