Proposed Conventional Sextupole for Installation at A0 Introduction (Dean Still) Reasons for installation- Reduce I in S6 feeddown sextupole circuit at injection and possibly up the ramp. Magnetic Parameters – ( Vladimir Shiltsev, Dave Harding, Yuri Alexahin) Does the magnet need to ramp? Ramp tests. Possibly of building laminated version Mechanical – (Mike Mcgee, Bill Robotham) Will it fit into the A0 space? Requires stand modification. Requires entire magnet rotated +/- 30 degrees. Electrical/Power Supply – (Wolff) Need to know Installation – (Jim Volk) Mechanical Cable pulls Controls Water Manifold

Proposed Conventional Sextupole for Installation at A0 9/12/03 Meeting Magnetic Parameters – (Dave Harding) Look at measurements preformed. Mechanical – (Mike Mcgee, Bill Robotham) Look at proposed mech. changes from Bill.(Dean) Electrical/Power Supply – (Wolff) Update to power supply needs. Need to know ripple requirements. Installation – (Jim Volk) Mechanical Cable pulls Controls Water Manifold
