1.Spreadsheet Applications Spreadsheets are used for modelling and simulations They can calculate quickly and accurately The data is easily stored on a computer and can be sent to others The data can be presented using numbers or charts (graphical form) Spreadsheets use worksheets consisting of a grid or table The spreadsheet is made up of rows and columns The intersection of a row and column is called a “cell” and is referred using letters for the column and numbers for the row eg.
