The shape of the moon is a sphere

The moon is about 238,900 miles away from the Earth

The moon is made of rock It has pits called craters The moon also has plains made of lava that erupted from volcanoes

No one can live on the moon because there is no oxygen or gravity

The moon looks like there is light coming from it but there is not The sun reflects off the moon which makes it light up
