EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PLAN

8 FMC is part of the Coconino County/City of Flagstaff Emergency Operations center. The group works together with the county, city, and state planning agencies….The role of FMC is to function as an acute medical care facility… Section 3D-1 (pg 6) of the Emergency Plan states….

10 Section 4-19 states: Volunteer practitioners may be granted employment on a case by case basis by the Director of Human Resources (or designee) or the Incident Commander (or designee) to help provide patient care during a disaster. Volunteer practitioner employment will be instituted only when the full Code Triage plan has been implemented and when the organization is unable to meet the immediate patient needs. 11 Volunteers cont… Section 6 of the Med Staff Bylaws regarding a disaster states: … Medical Staff, may be accepted to work in the facility during a disaster, temporary disaster privileges may be granted on a case by case basis by the FMC President (or designee) or the President of the Medical Staff (or designee) or the Department Chair to help provide patient care during a disaster.
