Brent School Effectiveness Service The school effectiveness service is responsible for monitoring the performance of schools and provides support and challenge to school leaders. The service works with headteachers, school governors, the Brent Schools Partnership, teaching school alliances, academy sponsors to: Promote educational excellence for all children and young people and be ambitious in tackling underperformance Take rapid and decisive action in relation to poorly performing schools Promote high standards in education by supporting effective school-to-school collaboration The School Effectiveness Service works closely with a range of partners - including the BSP and Brent’s teaching school alliances - to develop school to school improvement support. Safeguarding Any non confidential LADO enquiries should be directed to Confidential information should be sent to: Schools are encouraged to review the training and guidance issued to all staff and to consider taking up the training provided in key areas of safeguarding by the Brent Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB). Members of the schools workforce can register with Brent LSCB Learning Pool to attend these courses.
