Future ARIN Meetings John Curran President and CEO

ARIN w/NANOG Meeting Direction Situation – ARIN plan-of-record calls for two meetings through end of 2014, but not set beyond that point. – ARIN has successfully obtained a 3-hour Tuesday morning “ARIN” track in the standard NANOG program in order to hold a Public Policy Consultation (PPC). The “ARIN” track is now only opposite tutorials, not any other NANOG conference tracks. – ARIN has conducted three PPCs during NANOG meetings, and while the input has been very useful to the AC, the level of participation has been less than typical ARIN Public Policy Meetings. – Are ARIN spring and fall meetings still desired given the NANOG PPCs also being held? 2

ARIN w/NANOG Meeting Direction Survey! The ARIN Board of Trustees is discussing the appropriate frequency and format of ARIN’s Public Policy and Members Meetings. Traditionally and through 2014 ARIN is scheduled to hold two per year, one conjoined with NANOG in Q3 of the year. This survey is open to the ARIN and NANOG communities, and also to those who are not currently active in either organization. The survey will remain open until Friday 25 October. 6
