2.MEMBERSHIP To be able to regain the no. 1 status in the 10 districts in the Phil. as the district with the most number of Rotarians : Clubs w/ less than 20 members to reach charter minimum or 20% increase whichever is higher Clubs w/ members – 20% increase Clubs w members – 15 % increase Clubs w/ members – 10% increase Clubs w/ 51 members and more – 5% increase Potential new clubs in Batangas City, Lipa City, Nasugbu/Lian, Calamba City, San Pablo City, Binan, Cabuyao, Naga, Legaspi

5. YOUTH For all Rotary clubs to engage in youth programs Every Rotary club shall have : 1 Rotaract club 1 Interact club Clubs are recommended to host a Local RYLA in September Clubs are encouraged to send participants in the District RYLA – October Clubs are encouraged to participate in the YEP. Clubs are encouraged to participate in the MUNA. DISTRICT THRUST AND GOALS

6.INTERNATIONAL For all Clubs to feel and experience the internationality of Rotary More match clubs/sister clubs w/ foreign districts District to District friendship exchange w/ Taiwan One to two Rotary friendship exchanges Biggest attendance to the Rotary Zone Institute Biggest attendance to the RI Convention in New Orleans DISTRICT THRUST AND GOALS

7. Finance To raise funds for the District w/out increasing the per capita levy in the District - District Concert for Areas 1-3 and Area 4 - Tie up w/ Sun cellular - District Derby - Yellow pages District Golf and Badminton DISTRICT THRUST AND GOALS

8. PUBLIC IMAGE - To make a statement felt within the community that Rotary is the service organization of choice. - Apply for RI PR grant amounting to $10,000 to make one big PR project. - District Commemoration/Celebration of Rotary Week - February - Best Public Image Project DISTRICT THRUST AND GOALS

9.THE ROTARY FOUNDATION - Support the Rotary Foundation by raising APF amounting to $100K or more - Support the $200 Million Challenge for Polio - Create awareness of Rotary’ s role in polio eradication (National Immunization Day) - To be able to apply for matching grants using the ddf amounting to $50, Send 2 GSE teams (Ohio, Utah ) DISTRICT THRUST AND GOALS

10. DISTRICT TRAINING COMMITTEE To establish a Rotary Academy composed of District training leaders that will train a Rotary faculty staff and incoming District officers. To send for schooling prospective Rotary leaders in the Rotary Leadership Institute. DISTRICT THRUST AND GOALS
