 Born on August 3, 1977, in San Mateo, California  Brady excelled at both football and baseball at Junipero Serra High School. After graduating in  He passed up the chance to go to the University of Michigan.

 New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady replaced the team's starting quarterback Drew Bledsoe during the 2001 NFL season.  Bledsoe suffered an injury in a game against the New York Jets, after that Brady took over.
