Bantu People

Location of the Bantu They make up 2/3 of Africa’s population Originally, they resided in the country of Cameroon. Bantu Migration- They began to travel to other parts of the continent as the desert began to expand. Today the Bantu live all over Africa south of the Sahara.

Religion of the Bantu Traditional African Beliefs- Believe in ghosts and their power over people. Some ghosts are in the form of dead ancestors, kings, or warriors. Christianity Islam

Languages of the Bantu Many Bantu Languages Swahili is the most widely spoken Bantu language
