To clone or not to clone? That is the question. By: Becca Sides

It’s been proven that you can’t even clone dinosaurs so that takes all the fun out of doing it. If the fossil is more than a million years old the DNA is not likely to be intact or there at all. People in Asia are trying to clone a woolly mammoth and they said that finding an intact gene is the hardest part or the whole thing.

Scientists say that when you clone something it usually comes out either weakened in some way or has some mutation or another. There is a lot of debate about whether we should clone extinct animals or not. People have cloned endangered animals before but a lot of them died young. The End!
