Global Warming Brandon Lewis

What is Global Warming ○Global warming is basically what its name states. The world is getting hotter. This means, In general everything cold warms up and everything ice melts. Thus causes the world to flood with water. Due to this, all land based organisms will be erased off of Earth.

Causes of global warming The biggest cause of global warming is humans ourselves. The amount of greenhouse gasses we produce on a daily bases is insane. CO2 is a common one that we emit constantly from mills to cars to almost everything you look at that moves. Surprisingly, CO2 isn't the worst greenhouse gas to destroy the ozone layer. Nitrous oxide is almost 300 times as harmful to the ozone than Co2 but Co2 in larger amounts causes the most warming of the atmosphere.

Effects from global warming There is a wide range of effects that global warming brings to the earth and almost every single one is terrible. Since the world will be at sky high temperatures the ice glaciers would melt, so say bye to northern Canada, Greenland , and Antarctica. Instead of seeing ice all you would see is water. Billions of gallons of water would paint the earths satellite pictures, and because of this man made portrait, you would be lucky to see anything land based survive.

Is There Really Benefits? Believe it or not there are actually some effects that come to a benefit to us humans from global warming: There would be more job openings Studies show that once global warming reaches a certain point that there will actually be less storms. There would be more summer time for those who love the warm weather. There would be more food because there would be longer growing seasons. Less Deaths around the world in wars for food All of the above benefits are good but at the same time bad. If there is less human deaths from war that means we will become even more overpopulated and keep destroying the earth in ways unimaginable. Longer summers would cause the deaths almost everything reptilian and arctic. The longer summers would also cause the ice to melt killing billions of living things by drowning them in countless waves of gushing water.

Global Warming preventions Believe it or not there are some ways to prevent this tragedy from becoming increasingly unstoppable. Recycle everything that you can Car-pool your trips to work or school Turn off things when they are not in use Put brick in your toilet faucet to cause less water to be used and fill up faster. Don’t use cars if you don’t have to Shower instead of baths If global warming comes this would be Canada These are just a few of the thousands of ways to lower global warming's effects.
