Life In the Leagues The players had a hard life in the Negro Leagues. They would drive through the country by bus, playing 2 to 3 games a day. They basically lived in these buses. Many did not mind because they were doing what they loved.

Today Today there are many African Americans in Professional Baseball (MLB, AAA, AA). There are no segregated baseball leagues in existence today. All races play the great game of baseball side by side happily.
