Where is water found on Earth? Water is found many places on earth. It can be found in rivers, lakes, and oceans. It can also be found underground in the soil. Sometimes the water accumulates on the surface of earth. Where most water is found is in the clouds.

What are the distributions of water on earth? Oceans have 96.5% Freshwater has 2.5% Lakes have 20.9% Glaciers and icecaps have 68.7% Groundwater has 30.1% Ground and ice permafrost has 69.0%

How much water is available for human consumption? Not very much water on earth is available for human consumption. Only 37.29% of water on Earth is available or drinkable to humans. 261.76% of water on Earth is not available or not drinkable to humans. That means that 37.29% out of 299.05% of water is drinkable.

What are example of where water is stored on Earth? Water is stored many places on Earth. It can be stored in houses, clouds, the ground, soil, water plants, in plants, and in lakes, rivers, oceans, ect. We mostly think water just comes out of our sinks, but really it is found in many other places.

How does water move from one location to another? Water can move to many locations around the world. Eventually all water ends up going through the water cycle. Some of the water evaporates from lakes and condenses in clouds. Once the water condenses, it rains and either goes through soil and becomes groundwater or it can accumulate on the surface of Earth.
