Origami Photo Album

Materials Double sided card stock – you need an odd number of pages to make a complete album. – Paper should be cut into squares two times the size of the desired finished product. Double Stick tape-permanent Embellishments of your choosing

Organize Determine which color you want for the outside. I chose to alternate the colors of the pages.

Step 1 Fold paper, making sure that the outside color is on the outside. Open up the paper, rotate and fold again.

Step 2 Open up the paper, rotate and fold into a triangle. Even number pages should have this fold reversed, for an outward crease.

Step 2 Continued It should look like this when you open it up.

Step 3 Fold the paper along the creases, tucking in the corners as pictured. Repeat steps 1-3 for all pages

Put It All Together Open the paper for page 1 and on one of the un-creased corners place double stick tape (along all edges).

Putting It All Together Place the “top” corner of page 2 on top of page one section with double stick tape, ensuring that the outside of page 2 is adhered to the tape. Everything will be at an angle at this point. Repeat for all pages

Album

Fold Your Album

Embellish The Outside I used grommets, ribbons and a rivet button for closure. Use anything that you like from scrap booking materials, leftover ribbon, paint…etc. Add your pictures

The Finished Product Elastic Band (gold or silver) in bottom rivet, wraps around the back and hooks on the button at the top. Keeps the album closed while in your purse.
