PITCHfx, HITfx, FIELDfx – BASEBALLfx July

Comprehensive data  Pitches – PITCHfx determines equations of motion The equations tell us or imply everything  Hits – HITfx determines the initial part of the trajectory From launch angle, spray angle and speed we can estimate the rest of the trajectory but only so well We need the rest of the trajectory  Fielding Player movement – needed especially for understanding defense Ball movement, flight after HITfx, throws  All games / all teams Statistics and trends need all that data  DREs – Digital Record of the Events

PITCHfx Analysis is well established

HITfx Analysis is going strong  Hits vs. Outs against Zack Greinke

Fielding analysis is just beginning 5

Video analysis  Indexing video we capture now  Virtual cameras – Synthetic Video

Summit helps guide R&D  Lots of insights and ideas Pitching models Value of pitches Presenting and analyzing data Capturing more data Predicting tendencies and behavior Enjoying baseball even more  These insights influence what we do now and how it is received  We very much appreciate everyone’s participation
