Location of Iran Iran’s location is surrounded by Afghanistan, Pakistan, Soviet Union, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Iraq. In Iran most of the land is desert such as the Near Yzad desert.

Some more land Iran could be divided into the major river basins. The Central Plateau in the middle, Lake Orumieh basin in the North-West. The Persian Gulf, and also the Gulf of Oman in the West and South. Iran’s natural hazards are pretty harsh. Hazards Iran has to deal with is periodic droughts, floods, dust storms, sand storms, and earthquakes.

Native Wildlife Iran has animals such as wild boar, bears, eagles, pheasant, cattle, horses, panthers, and wild pigs. Iran’s common vegetation include brown soil as far as forest climate soils.
