OE OXYGEN ENRICHED BURNER Highly Efficient, Low NOx Emission and Robust Designed Industrial Burners mildflame® OE OXYGEN ENRICHED BURNER

YETEN provides complete solutions for the needs of industry about combustion and heating processes since 1987. Since then, it focused and gained much experiences on highly efficient, low emission and robust design burner systems for industrial furnaces. YETEN company uses computational tools in reseach&development and in design. These tools are CFD (computational fluid dynamics ) softwares and 2D, 3D CAD systems. The burner improvement and performance tests have been made in our own test furnace in R&D department. YETEN is ISO 9001:2000 quality management system certified company. We offer research, development, desing, installation and other services under ISO 9001 guarantee. NFPA, EN 746-2 safety standards are also adapted in our projects. Yeten exports its burners all around the world especially industrialized countries. The leading manufacturers of the related sectors inland are also our references.   NFPA EN TS-EN

OE OXYGEN ENRICHED BURNER mildflame® OE OXYGEN ENRICHED BURNER Description: Unfortunately, much more improvements in industry are resulted in reduction of fuel sources and environmental pollution. To prevent these negative conditions, some different methods are used. One of these methods is to use oxygen enrichment in combustion systems. Mildflame® Oxygen Enriched Burner’s design is based on flameless combustion technology. Gas and air are mixed in the burner block to supply pre – firing below 850 °C. Above 850 °C furnace temperature , flameless operation is achieved by means of air flow manipulation using the switch valve at air inlet and continues to burn with oxygen supplementation.Air nozzle velocity increases in flameless combustion mode and the flame temperature decreases due to the recirculation of combustion products into the reaction zone.

OE OXYGEN ENRICHED BURNER mildflame® OE OXYGEN ENRICHED BURNER Features: * Fuel: Natural gas * 29 % oxygen enrichment *Working with low excess air ( Oxygen up to 0.5 % , with very low carbon monoxide emissions(<10 ppm) * Low NOx Emission * Preheated air operation up to 500°C * Capacities: 550 – 850 – 1350 – 1900 – 2500 – 3300 KW * Low flame temperature Applications: * Reheating furnaces * Aluminium , copper and mine melting furnaces * Glass and frit melting furnaces * High temperature applications where combustion air is preheated

OE OXYGEN ENRICHED BURNER mildflame® OE OXYGEN ENRICHED BURNER INNOVATIVE DESIGN: Mildflame® OE Oxygen Enriched Burner provides increase in efficiency. It corresponds the EU ’s emission values. Mildflame® OE Oxygen Enriched Burner has been optimized cooperation with - Gas und Wärme Institut - Essen. Design and optimization have been made on Ansys – Fluent software , experimental tests have been made on our A.T Test furnace in our R&D facility.

OE OXYGEN ENRICHED BURNER mildflame® OE OXYGEN ENRICHED BURNER BENEFITS : Dual mode option (Without oxygen , it can still work in flameless mode.) Approx. 25 % fuel saving and 15 % capacity increasing (**) Low flame temperature, high refractor life Working with low air excess ratio ( oxygen under 0,5 % ) Low Nox Emission Reduction in scale and dross formations Uniform temperature distribution Increasing in quality of products and furnace efficiency (** Depends on furnace characteristics and working conditions.)

OE OXYGEN ENRICHED BURNER mildflame® OE OXYGEN ENRICHED BURNER BENEFITS : FUEL SAVINGS mildflame burner operates on 5 % and lower excess air. Complete combustion is offered up to 2 % excess air with low CO emissions (<10 ppm). Significant energy saving is achieved by complete combustion under low excess air conditions. Excess Air 2 % ( 0.4 % O2) 5 % ( 1.1 % O2) 10 % ( 2.1 % O2) 15 % ( 3.2 % O2) Available Heat (450oC Comb. OE OXYGEN ENRICHED BURNER mildflame® OE OXYGEN ENRICHED BURNER BENEFITS : REDUCTION IN SCALE LOSS In iron & steel industry , oxide formation (scale) composed during the hot working causes serious material losses.Making the combustion process with low air excess ratio , can reduce the scale formation.Reduction of oxygen from 2.2 % to 1,1 % and reduction of scale formation from 1 % to 0,7 % cause 2.4 % fuel saving. Air Excess Ratio 5% (1.1% O2) 10% (2.1% O2) 15% (3.2% O2) 20% (4.2% O2) 25% (5.3% O2) Scale (%) 0.7 0.9 1.15 1.35 1.5
