The United States of America Issues & Statistics

U.S. Facts & Figures The U.S. has about 5% of the world’s population but 34% of the world’s wealth. The median household income in the U.S. is $50,502 (2012). Per capita income in the U.S. is $37,500. Over 85% of Americans over age 25 have at least a h.s. diploma. (30% have at least a bachelor’s degree.) Our Constitution provides us with more “freedom” than any other place on Earth.

World Facts & Figures Over 50% of the world’s people have assets totaling less than $2,200. (How much is your car, house, wardrobe, etc. worth?) The other 95% of the world’s people have to share 66% of the world’s wealth. 40,000,000 people living in the United States today were not born in the U.S. (13.3%) Why do you think this is the case?
