FINDINGS AND RESULTS

We surveyed our staff… 15% responded. I guess we can’t ask much for much more the week before exams! What technology do you use? What technology do you wish you had? Hardware? Software? Professional Development?

Choices: provide all students with a laptop and wireless internet make a computer lab available to each department make a 15 computer mobile lab available to each department open an extra 35 computer lab in the building we have enough computers/access

Ever been left high and dry? We asked our staff how many times you’ve wanted to use computers/the Internet, but have not been able to? Here are the results!

Missing cable?50% Burnt out bulb?38% Internet was down?75%

Given what we have to offer?

What would you like to learn about? From this list of choices?

The answer was different… …. 40% mentioned that they wanted to learn how to use SmartBoards! 40%

Why not give them what they want? SmartBoard Technology? We will use this data as the basis for our needs assessment results for increased SmartBoard apps at AHS!
