Toilet is defined by Merriam-Webster as a large bowl attached to a pipe that is used for getting rid of bodily waste and then flushed with water. During the flood season, dirty and no water supply become the main problem for the flood victims. Smart toilet was designed based on the idea of portable toilet that had been used on construction sites and at large outdoor gatherings where there are no other facilities. Portable toilet is typically self-contained units that are made to be easily moved to different locations as needed. BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT

Malaysia is a country full of raining season. During raining season, peoples not able to use the toilet because of dirty, no water supply, clogged and limited number of toilet. The problem occurs during flood season because people may be trapped and the telecommunication signals are poor especially in the rural areas to ask for help. In this case, the victims will stay at the relief centre and large numbers of victims there with limited number of toilet and ruined drainage system will give difficulties to them. PROBLEM STATEMENT

Basically, the objectives of this project are:. To design and fabricate the Smart Toilet that can be used during the flood season. To introduce a user friendly product that meet all the customer’s requirements OBJECTIVES

4Supporting rod Reinforced steel bar High bend resistance properties  A rod that connected to the toilet to support the toilet from the ground during the flood.  The rod can be extended up to 15 meter.  Strong and hard to bend. 5 Sewage storage and delivery tank system Polyethylene plastic tank  Consist of tank and drainage for delivering and storing the solid waste (feces). 6Manual hand water pump PVC  A mechanical water pump that operate manually to retrieve the water from the flood water under the toilet base.  Available in every toilet room.

7Water pump filter Polyethylene terephthalate or nylon.  Used for filtering the flood water to ensure a cleaner water to be retrieved by the manual hand water pump.  Placed under toilet base. 8Toilet bowl Light-weight sheet polyethylene plastic.  Used for getting rid of bodily waste
