REAL SKILLS. REAL CAREERS. REAL WORLD. Most universities allow the high school students access to their institutional library for research, a student ID card, and access to events on campus. Dual credit follows National Alliance for Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) accreditation standards. Dual Credit is eligible for Fast Forward program. Cost to student is $65 per credit, established by State Board 4 Dual Credit: Benefits & Cost

REAL SKILLS. REAL CAREERS. REAL WORLD. Since 1990, Tech Prep was intended to help more students transition from high school into postsecondary technical programs, initially with a 2+2 framework. Idaho chose to consolidate and continue to support Tech Prep, even after Congress defunded Tech Prep completely in Perkins reserve funds are now designated to facilitate the transition of secondary PTE students to postsecondary PTE programs. Tech Prep Program is now referred to PTE Advanced Opportunities Dual Credit – technical courses Technical Competency Credit 10 Changes to Tech Prep and PTE Advanced Opportunities
