Opening Your Drive Open Google Drive from the launcher or from the apps (if the icon is not showing in the launcher)
Click on the new folder button and name it Florin TURN IN-your name Create a turn in folder
Click on the new folder button and name it Language Arts-STORAGE Create an LA storage folder
● Click on the box next to Language Arts- Florin-TURN IN ● Click on or click on the More in the tool bar ● Select “Share” from the dropdown menu Sharing with Mrs. Florin
● Enter in the “invite people” ● Unclick the notification box ● Click the green “share & save” button ● You will get an alert, it’s fine, just click OK ● This will allow anything you put in this file to be shared with me automatically Sharing with Mrs. Florin
Click on the newly created Language Arts-storage folder Open the folder
Click on the the red create button and select Document Create a Document
Click on Untitled Document and title it “Trying it out-your initials” Give your Doc a Title
Click on the blue share button Sharing your Doc
Enter the of the person with whom you would like to share the document. Also choose his/her rights. Can Edit Can Comment Can View Click “Share & Save” Then click “Done” Enter Address and Give Rights
Click on “shared with me” in the left side navigation bar You should see the document that was shared with you in this folder...Open it! Finding the other person’s doc
