Supplies Items that should be in class everyday: Agenda Pencils, black or blue ink pens Red pen for editing and revising writing Leaf loose paper Composition notebook (English) Four highlighter markers Optional - flashdrive

Student Message Center Each class has a calendar with daily activities Papers for absent students are placed into the appropriate pocket The student’s responsibility to check the calendar and take his/her work out Making up Tests/Quizzes *students must make arrangements with the teacher to come in before or after school

Homework Homework usually is: *vocabulary activities *rough draft essay writing/revising/editing *unfinished classwork Reading: *read AR book for min. each night

Grading Policy Deductions for late work after assignment is graded (1 day late -10%, 2 days -20%, 3 days -30%) Tests can be redone only with prior teacher approval and within a reasonable amount of time after taking the test Grading Scale: A 100 – 90% B 89 – 80% C 79 – 70% D % F 59 – 0%

AR Book Program Students are required to read 10 pts. worth of AR books per quarter and complete one book project per quarter Students are taken to the library once a month to take the STAR reading test (est. the students reading level) and to check out an AR book All due dates and information can be located on Myccsd.net under Campanico – Reading 6 Parents can access AR Home Connect from the library page at Greenspun.org
