Responsibilities Electrical engineers design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of electrical equipment, such as electric motors, radar and navigation systems. Electronics engineers design and develop electronic equipment, such as broadcast and communications systems.

Tasks They need to be able to work together when repairing and developing big equipment in its final stages. They work independently while prototyping and working on smaller projects and equipment.

Personal Skills You have to be able to work well with computers and computer applications. Being able to handle small objects with your hands is also a must since youre woking with cables. This is a year round job as well

Education At least a Bachelor’s Degree Months spent as an apprentice to one Separate class where you work with other engineers cooperatively

Local Companies Tons of companies in Baltimore 2 big ones are Dynamic Electrical Engineers Incorporated and Jacobs.

Training You do learn on the job as you follow others in an internship. As well as many cooperative on the job experiences with engineers. You need a certain amount of hours for this. This position requires no certifications. Training programs are through colleges and buisnesses.

Salary Starting out you can expect to make at least $89,180 After 5 years of experience you salary may increase to $112,560 After 10 years salary can be as high as $139,400 but can be even higher

Why I’m Interested I’m mainly interested in this job because I'm interested in computer engineering and this is the closest to that in the construction world. I also like the fact that they work with computers and do most of there work hands on.
