Her Childhood Queen Victoria was born on the 24th May 1819.Her full name was Alexandrina Victoria Guelph. When she was 18 her uncle, the king, died and she had to take the throne.

FAMILY Queen Victoria’s father was Prince Edward Duke of Kent and Stratham, and her mother was Princess Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld. Her father died when she was only 2 years old and then was raised with the close supervision of her German mother. She was never aloud to be alone and even had to sleep in her mothers bed. Every time she cried as a baby her uncle would come and beat her.
