Lando Jones Abstract colored pencil drawings. jones.html jones.html “I use laws of nature to guide my hand. For example, light reflects in a zig-zag, water flows into a delta in a fractal geometry, and things stay the same unless somethings happens to them. These are just a few ways in which order is formed from the chaos. The same forces are at work on the page as off the page, which leads to my Philosophy: Philosophy My drawings represent a baseline- consciousness that lies behind the reality we experience. We are all part of the same pattern, our bodies, and everything outside of them. We are one with the Universe. We create it. We are it, we are God and we are with him all the time whether we realize it or not. My drawings aim to break this illusion of separation by allowing people to see a part of my soul, and recognize it as part of their own.” I like the organic feel and use of repetition. I like that it looks like embroidery/ sewing.
