Birthday Marie was born October 30, 1922 in Queens, New York.

Childhood/hobbies/siblings/parents/ schooling Marie was a slave most of her life. She didn’t have any hobbies because of slavery. Marie was an only child. Her parents died when she was 6 months old because of a sickness. She didn’t go to school until slavery ended. When it ended, she went to school; she graduated and then wanted to go to college. She went to three universities: Harrison College, University of Phoenix, and DeVry University.

Family Life Marie had a husband named Albert Brown. She had two children named Norma and Albert Brown.

Famous invention Her famous invention is the Television Security System.

Job/work history She didn't work anywhere

Interesting facts The only reason why she made it because dogs were being shot and they didn’t have any way to protect their homes.
