What is IT? IT represents the technical perspective and includes telecommunications, computers and automatic technologies. More formally, it is the enabling mechanism which facilitates the processing and flow of the information, as well as the technologies used in the physical processing to produce a product or provide a service (Peppard, 1993)

Why IT ?

Questions for reflection Should IT empower teacher or student? Does IT make us smarter? Is IT a more effective tool than paper & pencil, chalk & board, ruler & compasses? Does IT guarantee quality education?
