Standards Card HTA Standards Card Name Form Uniform Blazer Tie worn correctly Top Button Shirt un-tucked Footwear Correct Trouser/skirt Other E quipment Pen Pencil/Eraser Ruler Planner/Timetable Required material for lesson Calculator Reading book Appearance Jewellery Decorative Headband Coat/hat Headphones Phones Make up/Nail varnish Staff Signature Date Every student will be provided with a standards card 3 staff signatures will result in a 1 hour detention on Wednesday afternoons A lost or forgotten card will result in a 1 hour detention Once a card has 3 signatures the student will be issued with the detention and receive a new card A new card will be issued termly

Classroom Management For poor behaviour Verbal warning Strike 1 name on board and/ Strike 2 // Strike 3 ///  You are in! If they get to 3 strikes on the board they should be issued with a 30 minute after school detention to be served the next day (24 hours notice) write this in student planners

Classroom management -Detention system A 30 minute detention will be issued by your child's class room teacher Failure to turn up will result in a 1 hr detention by the Head of the Department Failure to turn up will result in a two hour detention by a member of SLT Failure to turn up will result in a days close supervision Whilst the school does not require permission to detain your child, we will, out of courtesy, give parents 24 hours notice. If a student has difficulty in getting home from school after a detention they should refrain from receiving the detention in the first place.
