YES.  Senate Bill 536- Reclaimed Water  Indian River Lagoon- Water Quality  Springs Protection- Quality and Quantity  Water Quality  Septic Tanks  Fertilizer

YES.  Indian River Lagoon  In the SJRWMD and SFWMD  Algal superblooms 2009/ 2011 killed around 80% of sea grasses  SJRWMD part of the Indian River Lagoon Council studying superblooms and cause/ effect

YES.  Springs Protection  SJRWMD investing $10 million into springs related projects  Major effort on Silver Springs  Historical relationship with Rainbow Springs in SWFWMD has changed, Silver Springs flows continue to decline  Doesn’t appear to be related solely to groundwater withdrawals

YES.  Water Quality   TMDLs, BMAP  Septic Tanks and Fertilizer  Much work being done on determining the source of nutrients and the limiting nutrient  Septic tank retrofits to municipal WWTP $15,000 or more in residential areas  On-site treatment instead of septic tanks  Bold and Gold (UCF- Dr. Wanielista) $7,000
