Location Belize is a country in Central America. It is next to Guatemala, Mexico, and Honduras. The east side of Belize is on the coast of the Caribbean. Animals of Belize Since not very many people live in Belize, there is room for lots of animals. Belize has many birds like parrots and macaws. The Keel-Billed Toucan is it’s national bird. Many types of monkeys like the baboon live in Belize. It is also well known for their large cats, especially black panthers and spotted jaguars. Back

Food in Belize Belizean food is a mixture of Caribbean, Mexican, and British food. People in Belize eat a lot of rice and beans, meat, and vegetables. They like to drink coconut milk and eat fried plantains for dessert. They also make a “conch soup” which has potatoes, okra, yams, and flour. Back
