The setting Sun in Congo

The greens of the mountains of Kimbau and Kingungi.

To see the people left on the streets for weeks

The pounding the mothers do as they pound the flour

Of the tam tam on feasts and celebrations.

Of the force of the water of the fall of Mbimbi

The African woman, force of life

The hands of the children in mine

Of the smoke on the clothes of the children

The joyful valley

The hospital of Kimbau

The sad face of a mother by the side of her child in the hospital of Kimbau. The photo did not come, But the image has been engraved.

New life

Of books in the class room

The strength of an African woman.

The smiles of the children

Children earning their daily bread

Sunset in Kimbau

The African call during a song or on receiving some good news

Of playing with the children

That all of us had the same innocence, joy and human qualities

The richness of the nature of the Country

Of my family when I had malaria

The bamboo

The crowds of people on the roads

The fufu

Radio communication

The solidarity among the African people

The nenufar

To use resources

The children greeting us as we passed by

The roads in the interior

The hours of walking daily from home to work.

Peanuts

Any African can dance

Any office on the street

When they call me « white » I remembered the first Africans in Europe

The work of the sisters

To return to Congo and see that some things have changed

Of returning to Congo and seeing that something have NOT changed
